Not Cool

Was just telling S that I am back to updating my blog and he said "didn´t you know, blogging is not cool any more; you should be tweeting not blogging." And I replied "that´s great; I really don´t Want to be Cool; I Want to be HOT." I´d much raither be hot anyday. Who needs cool at my age?

A Estrada

Better idea now where I am going with this blog. I want a way to quickly capture thoughts I get when in an altered state. Often I use the computer and surf when I feel a wave of strange thoughts and emotions. The main thought is working with an interesting idea as quickly as possible while it is fresh. To follow exciting paths - follow the excitement. Not original, been said before but the excitement LEADS to the original.
Hence these collages and weird pictures. They are the literal "snapshot" - where I am NOW (thanks Eckhart). Been journalling on and off for 20 or more years and my work is becoming more creative, more original and more directed. The activity of journalling my live IS MY LIFE. The two are inseperable.

Essence of Self

I have been considering what makes up my true essence - considering for many years. I want to record my thoughts, to add to the trail for others to follow.

I took some photos tonight with the new camera - only know how to work it on auto so far, so the pictures were grainy. I decided to play around with the basic tools in picasa and found I could add a quick caption to give a pointer to where my mind was rambling at that time.
